Medical Research Using Ozone Earth Safe Ozone is not directly involved with the thousands of case studies that have been done, throughout the world, involving ozone as a therapy. However, members of the Earth Safe Ozone team have experienced some of them first-hand. While attending an Ozone conference in London, our team attended the Medical Uses of Ozone conference and saw the 2001 trials. Countries throughout the world are far ahead of the United States when it comes to the medicinal use of ozone. Even Cuba has an advanced ozone research center, where they are developing and implementing ozone therapies. They are using ozone systems to sterilize hospitals and emergency clinics with a great deal of success. The above paper involves Bio-oxydative therapies using Oxygen, Ozone and Hydrogen Peroxide. Although dated 1996, it provides some insight into the field of research that is being conducted where Ozone is involved. It is a large paper but many sections are worth the read.
Ozone in Medicine: Overview and Future Directions Below is the abstract from the paper linked above. "Ozone, an allotropic form of oxygen possesses unique properties which are being defined and applied to biological systems as well as to clinical practice. As a molecule containing a large excess of energy, ozone, through incompletely understood mechanisms, manifests bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal actions which may make it a treatment of choice in certain conditions and an adjunctive treatment in others."
